Spiritualität im/für das Management - mehr als die Referenz auf den Jesuiten-Orden

Welche Faktoren auf der Ebene von Werten, Haltungen und Charakter ermöglichen Exzellenz in Organisationen? Gerne werden bei diesem Thema Analogien zu religiösen Orden, wie etwa den Jesuiten, herangezogen. Offenkundig hat das jedoch Nichts mit spezifischer Kirchlichkeit oder Konfessionaliät zu tun, wenngleich religiöse Gemeinschaften mit jahrhundertealter Tradition einen spannenden Blick auf die Frage nach der Langlebigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit von Unternehmen werfen und allein deshalb interessante Studien-Objekte darstellen. Den ersten englischsprachigen Untersuchungen zu diesem Thema, die mit dem Namen des ehemaligen Shell-Szenario-Planungschefs Arie de Geus verbunden sind, sind für den deutschen Raum gerade in den letzten Jahren auch spannende Analysen der Langlebigkeit von Familienunternehmen gefolgt, die dem Interface zwischen Haltungen, Werten und auf Ausgleich (nicht Harmonie!) sowie Nachhaltigkeit bedachten Unternehmenskulturen nachspüren. Auch auf der Ebene der individuellen Einstellung und Spiritualität sind mit den Studien von Peter Senge et al. bzw. dem umfangreichen Werk von C. Otto Scharmer seit der Jahrtausendwende Untersuchungen erschienen, die sozusagen inklusiv, d.h., jenseits des christlich und männlich geprägten Horizonts, bestimmte Grundsätze einer integralen Werte-Praxis bestätigen, die um Achtsamkeit und Respekt kreisen. So sehr ich im übrigen die Arbeiten der Gruppe um Peter Senge persönlich schätze, so ärgerlich ist dennoch in diesem Kreis manchmal eine gewisse Geschichtsvergessenheit, denn die skizzierten Grundlagen und Grundhaltungen findet man auch in der abendländischen Tradition und muss deshalb nicht nur Anleihen in anderen Kulturkreisen machen, so befruchtend das auch im einzelnen sein kann. |
